NCCR Disaster Training Institute - fall 2015
November 14-15, 2015
You can attend one day or two days. Attendance for the entire duration of the Institute is strongly recommended. The cost of the Institute covers lodging, training, and most meals. (The Institute cost is the same for one class or multiple classes.) Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Things to know about the NCCR Disaster Training Institute
Out of respect for our donor dollars, this event has been planned with an eye toward creating the most comprehensive training event possible for the least cost and the least environmental impact. You will see this demonstrated by the facilities selected and the training methodologies. By making those choices, more volunteers and employees can be trained on how to provide vital services.
You will have a choice between two tickets: NCCR Disaster Training Institute Commuter or NCCR Disaster Training Institute Overnighter. Tickets are good for up to two days of training, depending on your course selections. Overnight tickets are $45 and includes three meals on Saturday and two meals on Sunday. Friday's dinner is on your own. A $25 Commuter ticket includes lunch and also can include dinner if you reserve it. Ticket prices are guaranteed until October 15th. |
Going Green
This will be a paperless event. We will not be printing course materials – everything will be provided to you electronically before the event. You will be asked in the registration process if you have a device (i.e. laptop, tablet, Kindle, etc.) you can bring with you. If you want paper copies of your course materials, you will need to print those and bring them with you.
